Horaflow started as an internal tool. We were a 30-person dev shop quietly bleeding $300+/month to Time Doctor, watching the data round-trip to a US server, and discovering — on a Monday morning HR call — that our night-shift team's hours were attributed to the wrong calendar day for the third week in a row.

We built our own tracker over a few weeks. Mac, Windows, and Linux desktop agents. Screenshots that get the timezone right. Project reports that match what we billed clients. A dashboard that doesn't take 7 seconds to load thousands of employees.

Then friends started asking if they could use it. So we packaged it up. Horaflowis what we landed on as the name — hora being the Spanish for hour, flowbeing what your work should feel like when the timer doesn't lie about it.
